Four young Huni Kuin sisters wearing traditional colorful woven clothing and the
sacred Kené face paint typical of their tribe. Standing on the doorstep of their home, these four Huni Kuin sisters represent both the innocence of childhood and the quiet strength of cultural heritage. Their vibrant skirts, carefully handwoven, and the sacred Kené patterns painted across their faces bear
witness to a living tradition passed down through generations of women. Kené are spiritual cartographies, each line symbolizing a cosmological truth, a connection between body, earth, and the invisible.
